Cutting Mushrooms

Influenced by the movie “Tetsuo: The Iron Man”, directed by Tsukamoto Shinya in 1989, I am interested in the question of a thwarted bodily transformation. Indeed, I find infinite potential in the control of the explosion, which makes a strangely inaccurate figure appear. From this sensation of carnal impact, I propose an elusive solo. Through a process of unfinished transformation, Cutting mushrooms proliferates bodies that are both habitual and unusual through the appearance and mutation of multicellular clothing, as well as the bizarre emergence of the raw voice. My transformation here is a personal resistance that expresses the frustration caused by compromise. I begin to paint a vision of my intuitive and visionary dystopian world. But beyond an individual imagination, this process reveals another monstrosity, evoking the conflicts at work in our society.
