La Reverdie is a poetic celebration of the advent of spring, the rebirth of love and the resumption of human and animal activity dating from Middle Ages. This is the moment where nature is adorned with green again.
This specific moment of meeting, embracing otherness, is the core of this duet.
We want to highlight the interdependencies between the different organisms from an ecosystem.
In order to maintain balance, those entities structure themselves through a system of reliance relationships.
We imagine our duet as a contemporary fable crossed by two allegorical beings which are human but also animal and vegetal; each with the skin painted in blue or yellow. We want to explore and emphasize through this performance the multiple interactions existing between them. The space of porosities and impregnations, creating something new, will be signified by the mixture of our colors.
Our blue and yellow bodies will blend together to turn into a common green.
